Project Description
PA.I.S France has taken the decision to provide aid to the Refugees Camps in Palestine.
Al Fawar is a Palestinian Refugees village and camp established in 1949 and located in Hebron Governorate, in the southern part of the West Bank.
The situation of people living in Al Fawar is made very difficult by the lack of garbage collection, poor sanitation facilities and the density of the population in the camp.
It should be noted that the habitable surface of the camp has not increased since its creation, despite the constant augmentation in its occupants.
Mr Afeef GHATASHA, Director of the Refugees popular Committee, guided us through the streets. The children being out of school, we were able to visit a building without equipment at the moment, which is intended to become an educational support center for young people.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of being invited to a traditional lunch, prepared by the committee of women who manage the kitchen provided by PA.I.S France.
It is also in charge of supporting women and young children.
